Senaman Tua Interactive Talk 20th Dec 1- 3:30pm 2025

£28.00

Discover an ancient Melayu movement practice and why it’s remained hidden from the modern fitness world. Journey through the history, culture, philosophy, language, arts, and wellbeing foundations that shape The Malay Way.

This session is open to anyone curious, reflective, and excited to explore new skills that enrich everyday life.

You’ll be guided by Nusaybah, who has lived and studied in the Nusantara region (Indonesia & Malaysia) and earned three specialist scholarships for her work in traditional arts and culture. Expect images, videos, and clear explanations that bring this unique tradition to life.

To fully immerse you in the Malaysian atmosphere, your ticket includes teh tarik (Malaysia’s iconic pulled tea) and bubur kacang, a traditional warm mung-bean dessert soup.

After the short talk, you’ll have the chance to ask questions and, if you wish, join a mini taster practice of this Malaysian exercise method.

Nusaybah draws from over a decade of experience as an international Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Her sessions are available online or in person, for individuals or groups.

When: Saturday 20th December

Time: 13:00- 15:30

Where: Rumi’s Cave, 120 Craven Park Road, NW10 8QD
